Learn about my journey as a new children's book author

Before I became a children’s book author, I spent many years working as a Speech and Language Therapist and Language Teacher. Helping children find their voice and supporting families through their language development journeys was always deeply rewarding for me.

When my daughter was born, my focus naturally shifted to her growth and development. During that time, I became even more aware of how crucial early language stimulation is—and how much joy it can bring to both children and parents. As I spoke with other mothers, I realized that many of them were struggling with speech delays and articulation difficulties in their children. They often felt uncertain about how to help them at home. That’s when the idea for my speech and language therapy book for young children was born—a resource that would guide parents through fun, effective activities to support their child’s communication skills.

My daughter became my first little tester—she eagerly tried every activity in the book, and seeing how much she enjoyed them confirmed that I was on the right path. Her laughter and progress inspired me to share these activities with other families, hoping they would experience the same excitement and success.

What started as a personal project quickly grew into a mission: to empower parents and make speech and language development fun, accessible, and part of everyday life.
